Sixty-six thousand (66,000) visas available for temporary workers.  These visas are good for up to 11 months wherever there is a seasonal need, an intermittent need or a peak load need.

One hundred ninety-five thousand (195,000) visas available annually for workers in a specialty occupation.  These visas are good for up to 3 years and are renewable for an additional 3 years. 

Under the North American Free Trade Agreement, there are an unlimited number of visas available for:

  a.)     Workers qualified to supervise or train workers performing installation, repair workers performing installation, repair or maintenance related to sale.

  b.)     Scientific technicians-workers with theoretical training and practical experience   solving problems in either engineering or physics. 

An unlimited number of visas are available each year for Canadian construction companies seeking to expand their operations into the United States.  These visas are available for management as well as for essential and specialized employees with an advance level of knowledge regarding the company's products, services, equipment, techniques, processes and procedures.

Many others visas can converted into one of the over 120,000 permanent visas available each year.
